Avoiding Distracted Driving

We have been handling car accident cases throughout Colorado, including in Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Aurora and the metro Denver area, since 1977. We have seen car accidents caused by hundreds of different factors, from weather, vehicle defects, to road construction. But, the single most common reason is that the driver was distracted. The use of cellphones has only made the problem worse.

Here are just a few tips to avoid distracted driving:

Use your cell phone for emergency situations only.
If you are drowsy, pull off the road.
Avoid eating while driving.
Do your multi-tasking outside the car.
